Ondine is a 10-year old female cat suffering from feline eosinophilic granuloma. This dermatological condition has resulted in a lesion and severe itching in her lip area. It's exhausting for her!
Sadly, Ondine has contracted feline infectious peritonitis. As a result of this disease, her abdominal region has swollen abnormally. Her health could deteriorate at any moment, thus we need to monitor her closely.
Ondine is so wild that she can't cope with living indoors. Consequently, we've had to relocate her to a secure spot in the countryside. However, there's no shelter there, and so, already frail, she may not last long in such conditions.
Given her health issues, Ondine is considerably weakened. Having an animal kennel would mean she wouldn't have to sleep in the rain during bad weather. A shelter would be a genuine source of comfort for her.
The situation of our association is worsening: managing 250 cats with a nearly non-existent budget and very few donations, it's becoming very challenging to cope.
Three associations in Beziers have already closed down. If this continues, we might have no choice but to follow in their footsteps.
