Suffering from a severe intestinal irritation, poor Lucie is exhausted by intense diarrhoea!

1. She has severe intestinal disorders…

Lucie is a four-year-old cat, who is suffering from a deep intestinal irritation. She is battling severe diarrhoea, which is sapping her energy!

We have not yet been able to catch her for treatment. As the wormers have not had an effect, the vet has prescribed cortisone, which we are going to give her to soothe her.

2. She sleeps outdoors!

Poor Lucie lives outside, which certainly doesn't help her condition. Previously, a man would open his garage for her, but he no longer does this since the number of cats has grown. Lucie thus tries her best to shelter under cars when it rains, but there's a risk of her getting run over at any moment!

3. To rest, she will need blankets

If provided with a bundle of blankets, Lucie would always have a clean and comfortable place to rest and recover. Once autumn arrives, she could cuddle up snugly away from the elements, to enhance her sleep. This would in turn increase her chances of regaining her strength.

4. Epidemics are rife among the stray cats…

Currently, the number of cats in need is on the rise. In total, more than 60 moggies are depending on us for help! Regrettably, there are outbreaks of calicivirus and cat flu...

The vet bills for treating all these cats are colossal! We don't have enough budget left to buy blankets and specialised food for those in need…
