Little Pikachu was at risk of euthanasia because he is sick!

1. He was at risk of euthanasia!

Pikachu is a one-month-old kitten that was taken to the vet to be euthanised. The clinic contacted us so we could take care of him to avoid this tragic fate... Since he is still very young, we are bottle-feeding him every three hours.

2. He's very sick...

Unfortunately, Pikachu has a very severe case of cat flu. He has a fever, his eyes are filled with pus, and he is very weak. We have, therefore, started him on antibiotic treatment and apply eye ointment several times a day.

3. Blankets would provide him with more restful sleep

To avoid getting even sicker, Pikachu needs to stay well sheltered from draughts and dampness. With blankets, he could better maintain his body heat in spite of his weakened state. It would enhance his sleep, helping him gradually regain his strength.

4. We don't receive any donations!

With 130 animals to care for and yet no donations forthcoming, the organisation is under strain. Financially, it's a disaster! Finding the funds to purchase canned food and blankets for our wardens is becoming increasingly difficult...
