Running eyes, breathing difficulties, fatigue: poor Mistigrette lives outdoors, with chronic cat flu!

1. She is sick…

Mistigrette is a cat of about five years old, which we found in the street. She unfortunately caught a case of cat flu which has developed into a chronic condition.

Despite our care, the symptoms always end up returning: her eyes are teary, she has difficulty breathing and even pants at times!

2. She lives outdoors!

Mistigrette is so wild that she can't stand being indoors. We have provided her with a secure site on our association's premises, but she is too scared to go inside the building, even when it's raining. Unfortunately, all the outdoor shelters are already occupied…

3. Canned food would help her regain her strength

Appetising and easy-to-eat food would be perfect for Mistigrette. This would give her the chance to recharge her vitamins, providing her body with the energy it needs to fight the virus.

4. An epidemic has shaken everything up…

Some of our charges have caught feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), and there have, unfortunately, been several fatalities.

The medical treatment has racked up substantial costs, and we no longer have the funds to purchase specialised food, blankets, and shelters for those in need…
