Hernia, diabetes: poor Victoire was abandoned, even though she has major health problems!

1. She was abandoned while sick...

Victoire is a cat of approximately 12 years who was abandoned despite being diabetic. We've taken her into our care, and give her insulin injections morning and evening. We also have to check her blood sugar levels every month to prevent her condition from worsening.

2. She has a hernia!

Victoire has a hernia that’s so big, it takes up her entire flank! She no longer has any abdominal wall and sometimes struggles to walk. Unfortunately, it’s too large to operate on... so we have fitted her with a body suit, to support her hernia.

3. Specialised canned food would allow her to regain strength without risk

Canned food that’s specially designed to regulate blood sugar levels would provide Victoire with a healthy supply of essential nutrients. Regaining such strength daily would help her stay in good shape, despite her health issues.

4. We receive no donations!

With 130 animals to take care of and still no donations, the association is under pressure. Financially, it’s a disaster! Finding the funds to buy food and blankets for our furry friends is increasingly difficult...
