Fever, damaged eye, blocked nose: poor little Alaska has a very bad case of cat flu!

1. He's very ill...

Alaska is a two-month-old kitten, suffering from a particularly virulent strain of cat flu. He has been excessively feverish, coughing, with a blocked nose and runny eyes. Thus, he has been taking tablets with his food to alleviate these symptoms.

2. He's struggling to eat!

Alaska also has a calicivirus. The ulcers on his tongue and inflammation in his mouth impede his ability to eat, resulting in significant growth delay.

3. With canned food, he could gain weight and recover his health

A diet that's easy to ingest and appealing would be ideal to assist Alaska in eating and taking his medication more efficiently. Consistently replenishing his nutrients could help him regain strength. In turn, he may gradually gain weight and catch up with his growth delay.

4. Between the stray cats and kittens, we're overwhelmed!

Since the end of May 2025, we've taken in 60 kittens, many in critical condition. It's a true disaster! We also have many stray cats that we need to feed and care for... it's too much for our meagre budget!
