Poor Fauve has unpredictable behaviour due to a brain tumour!

1. A tumour is causing her severe stress…

Fauve is a 10-year-old mare that was entrusted to us by her breeder to save her from the slaughterhouse. As she was exhibiting various behavioural problems, we conducted examinations to find out more.

It turns out she has a brain tumour located in the pituitary. Because of this, she struggles severely to regulate her emotions and is under a lot of stress.

2. Pellets would help her regain strength

Pellet supplementation would be ideal for Fauve. By allowing her to replenish nutrients on a daily basis, this kind of diet would contribute to keeping her in good condition. Having access to such appetising and comforting food could also help calm her down.

3. Donations are becoming too rare!

Our refuge is currently caring for 69 animals. All of them have been abandoned or subjected to abuse…

Despite our best intentions, it's always a real challenge to secure donations. Unfortunately, the little that we do receive is far from sufficient: we are continually lacking funds!
