1. His Health issues keep piling up...

Ruben is a 9-year-old tomcat, who has been fostered for the past 4 years. His life has been one poorly-timed misfortune after another: riddled with gunshot wounds, he also suffers from epilepsy. To top it off, he has a calicivirus, causing him pain and regularly preventing him from eating properly.

2. Canned food would allow him to eat without pain

Wet and appetising food that's easy to eat would be perfect for Ruben. Tender pâté would allow him to eat without pain despite his calicivirus, and help him regain strength to fight off all his afflictions.

3. Our food drives are not sufficient to feed all our rescues

We have many cats up for adoption that haven't found homes for several months, despite our best efforts. We also take care of feral cats that require specific food; our in-store collections are nowhere near enough to keep up with all these requirements!
