Poor Foufou is old, sick and lives outdoors...

1. Struggling to eat...

Foufou is an elderly cat suffering from chronic calicivirus. The inside of his mouth is inflamed, causing him to drool considerably. Eating kibble has become too painful for him. We therefore administer pain relief injections from time to time to alleviate his discomfort.

2. He lives outdoors!

Terrified by the other cats at the shelter, Foufou refuses to come inside and lives outside, regardless of the weather. When it rains, he takes shelter as best he can among the bamboo and reeds.

3. Canned food would facilitate his feeding

A moist food suitable for his age would provide Foufou with a daily source of vitamins. This would help him maintain a stable weight and retain some energy, despite his mouth problems. It would indeed be a great relief to him!

4. The return of the cold worries us…

Between the kittens, the adult cats that are sick, and the numerous veterinary bills, our financial resources are critically low! We need to prepare for the return of cold and damp weather… Your assistance would be more than welcome to replenish our stocks of food, blankets, and shelters for our charges!
