Little Athos lost his eye due to cat flu!

1. His eye was coming out of its socket!

Athos is a four-month-old kitten who was found on the street with a severe case of cat flu. The disease had affected his eye, which was heavily damaged and coming out of its socket!

Regrettably, we had to remove and enucleate his eye. We managed to treat the virus with medication afterwards, but Athos will be visually impaired for the rest of his life...

2. Blankets would keep him warm this winter

Sleep is crucial for a kitten. Athos, weakened by his difficult start in life, could really use a batch of blankets to help him maintain his body heat more easily. This would provide him with more restful sleep.

3. We lack the funds to carry out our operations!

We have recently taken a lot of new cases under our care, which has increased the number of cats we are protecting to about forty.

The council only gives us a 500 euro grant per year, which is far from covering all the expenses. Unfortunately, donations have been insufficient and haven't increased!
