Poor Flocon was headed for the slaughterhouse...

1. Deemed useless, he was at risk of being slaughtered!

Flocon is a four-year-old billy goat who was living in a dairy farm. Being a male, and therefore unable to produce milk, he was likely to be sent to the slaughterhouse. To prevent him from meeting such a fate, we took him in.

2. He is very fragile...

Flocon was so weak and sick upon his arrival that we had to put him on a drip! Even today, he is still undernourished and tends to lose weight easily if he is not supplemented.

3. Pellets would help him maintain his health

A supplement of pellets would provide Flocon with a daily intake of nutrients. This would be an effective way for him to build up his strength and maintain good health despite his vulnerabilities. With winter approaching, it would also help him withstand the cold.

4. Animals in need continue to grow in numbers!

We have rescued many farm animals and have taken care of around forty stray cats this year. We are in need of pellets and canned food so we can provide at least the weakest among them with the proper nutrition they require!
