Romeo is suffering from kidney failure even though he's still very young!

1. Toxins are not being correctly expelled from his system…

Romeo is a six-year-old cat, who is living with chronic renal failure. He sleeps a lot, as his body is more fatigued than normal: his kidneys not operating optimally, there is a tendency for toxins to accumulate.

This disease is irreversible, but we are doing our utmost to slow its progression for Romeo, so that he can still have a beautiful and long life. Sadly, specialised food is expensive!

2. Providing him with adequte canned food would help replenish his energy safely

Food specially designed to be gentle on the kidneys would help Romeo replenish nutrients effectively, without unnecessarily taxing his system. This way, he could stay fit and maintain his health, despite his condition.

3. Donations and adoptions are dramatically decreasing!

We barely receive any donations, and there hasn't been an adoption for a very long time. I continue to cover all costs as best I can with my personal finances, but my income has decreased.

On top of that, with a lack of volunteers, I haven't been able to organise a trolley drive for a while, as bottle-feeding the kittens takes up all my time… A helping hand in obtaining specialised food would be more than welcome!
