Plume is a one-eyed ewe that we took in following a confiscation. She arrived suffering from acidosis: the pH level in her stomach was so acidic that it caused her severe diarrhoea!
Despite receiving care, she remained unwell for several months. She has only just started to show some signs of improvement.
Supplementing her diet with pellets would allow Plume to get a daily dose of nutrients - a great way for her to regain her strength and recover her health, especially after the difficult time she's been through. Come winter, she would be better capable of resisting the cold too.
We've saved numerous farm animals and taken on some forty stray cats this year. We're in need of more pellets and canned food to be able to adequately feed at least the weakest among them!
