Mistreated, Vaéna saw her wounds become gangrenous due to lack of care!

1. She had to have a leg amputated following abuse...

Vaéna is a two-year-old dog, who was seized after being passed from hand to hand among the homeless. The poor girl was often chained up!

She was beaten so brutally that her wounds became gangrenous on one leg. The veterinarian had no other choice but to amputate it! Living with only three legs is a real handicap for her.

2. To keep her spirits up, she's going to need canned food

A diet rich in vitamins would be ideal for Vaéna. Healthy and tasty, such food would certainly lift her spirits after all she's been through. It would also be an excellent source of nutrients for her.

3. Abandonments are on the rise...

There are more and more abandoned animals, arriving in catastrophic conditions. At the moment, we're dealing with more than 89 dogs! Our food supplies are dwindling and with winter approaching, we don't know how we're going to manage!
