Fleas, worms, cat flu: little Angie was abandoned in a critical condition, when she was only 20 days old!

1. She arrived sick and infested...

Angie is a kitten of just one month, abandoned when she was only 20 days old. As she was infested with fleas and full of worms, we had to deworm her. Unfortunately, she is suffering from cat flu: her nose is running, her eyes are glued together, and she has a fever.

2. She'll soon have to be released outdoors!

At the moment, we are bottle-feeding Angie indoors. But given the number of our protected, we can't keep her indefinitely in our premises and will have to release her to the association's grounds as soon as winter is over. Once outside, she will have nowhere sheltered to turn to...

3. Blankets would keep her warm this winter

A set of blankets would be perfect for Angie. By helping her conserve body heat more efficiently, these would allow her to focus her energy on recovery. This could gradually enable her to regain strength, so she's in better shape by spring.

4. It's a nightmare!

We've never seen so many abandonments since our association's inception. This year, there are a massive number of kittens, many of whom have cat flu and are living outdoors, with nowhere to go.

Caring for and feeding them requires a colossal budget! Sadly, we don't have room to take them, and not enough budget to provide them with blankets and shelters.
