Little Daemon was abandoned while he was all feverish!

1. He arrived sick and parasitised…

Daemon is a kitten of just one month, who was abandoned when he was only 20 days old. As he was covered in fleas and filled with worms, we had to de-worm him. Unfortunately, he is suffering from cat flu: his nose is running, his eyes are all sticky, and he has a fever.

2. He will soon have to be released outdoors !

For now, we are bottle-feeding Daemon indoors. But given the number of our protegés, we can't keep him indefinitely in our facilities, and will have to release him on the association's grounds as soon as winter passes. Once outside, he will no longer have anywhere to take shelter…

3. Blankets would keep him warm this winter

A batch of blankets would be perfect for Daemon. By helping him to maintain his body warmth more efficiently, some fleece throws would allow him to focus his energy on recovering. This way, he could gradually strengthen, and be in better health by spring.

4. It’s a nightmare !

We have never seen so many abandonments since our association was founded. This year, there are an enormous number of kittens, many of whom have cat flu and live outside, with no place to go.

Taking care of them and feeding them requires a giant budget ! Unfortunately, we do not have space to accommodate them, nor enough budget to provide them with blankets and shelters…
