Struck by a severe calicivirus, Ibis is incredibly thin!

1. Struggling to eat due to calicivirus

Ibis is a approximately five-year-old cat with a severe case of calicivirus. The inside of his mouth is so inflamed that he struggles to eat. The poor thing is extremely skinny! We relieve his discomfort by administering cortisone periodically.

2. Blankets would keep him nice and warm

With a set of blankets, Ibis would have a safe refuge to recuperate. Being able to snuggle into something soft and comfortable would allow him to rest better. It would be a real comfort for him!

3. Epidemics are taking their toll

There are so many stray cats that we plan to launch a sterilisation campaign to limit their proliferation. As they live outdoors, it's very challenging to control the spread of epidemics.

This year, many caught calicivirus! All in all, we are currently caring for no fewer than 45 cats in need.
