Having been outside for years, Baloo is at the mercy of the cold!

1. He was completely wild...

Baloo is a stray cat we found wandering around 4 years ago. At the time, he was totally wild and would run away from any human contact. With a lot of patience and kindness, we managed to earn his trust: by feeding him every day and staying present, we were able to approach him. We eventually managed to trap him to have him neutered, but he can only live outdoors.

2. A den would protect him from bad weather

Today, Baloo comes to our feeding spot every day, and sleeps under a simple table. We have put out blankets to try to help him, but the damp and cold mean this solution is really inadequate. A den would provide him with a suitable, dry, insulated shelter to safely get through the winter.

3. 20 stray cats rely on us, but we no longer have the means...

For months, our small team has been looking after 20 stray cats every day. They live outdoors without shelter, but never without care. We feed them and monitor them daily. But winter is coming and they sleep on the frozen ground. No huts, no refuge… just the cold, the rain, and our presence – insufficient against the foul weather. Everything depends on our president, who has been personally financing this mission since the beginning. Without subsidy, without external help, she can't keep up!
