1. His mouth is incredibly inflamed!

Batman is a three-year-old cat suffering from calicivirus. Due to gum inflammation, some of his teeth have become loose, making it difficult for him to eat. The virus is also putting a significant strain on his overall health...

2. He lives outdoors...

Batman lives outdoors, in a semi-wildland area, near a social reintegration centre. He has no refuge there... The location, regrettably, is severely exposed to the harsh weather!

3. With canned food, he could regain his strength without pain

Given the condition of Batman's teeth, scavenging for food is particularly difficult. Canned food, which is moist and easy to swallow, would be ideal for him. This would provide him with an easy way to replenish his nutrients and regain some of his daily energy.

4. A hundred free-roaming cats rely on us!

Like many small-scale organisations, we face significant expenditure for veterinary expenses and feeding our feline inhabitants.

In our early years, we were managing through 'trolley operations'. Sadly, the store that used to welcome us no longer accepts collections for animal welfare... We're therefore finding it very hard to meet our needs!
