Jena is suffering from an unexplained illness that is preventing her from eating!

1. She was abandoned

Jena is a 5-year-old cat who was living on an abandoned farm before her rescue. Being feral, we placed her at a feeding site for observation, nourishment and necessary treatment. An odd condition has developed since her rescue: suddenly, Jena can completely refuse to eat.

2. She suddenly refuses to eat...

From one day to the next, in unpredictable episodes, Jena can completely refuse to eat. All veterinary checks have been carried out, yet no clear explanation has been found for this behaviour... When this happens, she receives a shot of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as corticosteroids to alleviate any potential pain.

3. Canned food for sensitive cats would aid her eating

A diet for sensitive cats would befit Jena greatly. Appetizing canned pate food, easily ingestible and digestible, would ease her eating during these difficult times and help her maintain her strength despite her unexplained ailment.

4. Our reserves are exhausted!

Our small association has been helping cats since December 2019. We feed 166 stray cats each day, look after both weaned and unweaned kittens, domestic and feral cats, and carry out sterilisation campaigns.

Summer's end has drained our reserves and handed us heavy veterinary bills from complicated cases. We need assistance to keep feeding all our charges!
