Traumatised by a fire, young Baloo had some of his fur burnt!

1. He's Been Burnt...

Baloo is a year old cat, found on one of the burned sites. Part of his fur was singed in the fire.

We took him to the vet, where he received inhalation treatment and an antibiotic injection to prevent his burns from becoming infected.

2. He Now Lives Outdoors!

Baloo is so feral that he couldn't stand to stay indoors. He had to be released back to his original site. But there's nothing left there, all the trees have burned! He doesn't have anywhere to take shelter anymore...

3. Canned Food Would Boost His Strength

A balanced and moist diet would be perfect for Baloo to easily replenish his energy. High in good nutrients, such canned food would help him on his way to recovery, while also lifting his spirits substantially!

4. The Fires Caused a Real Carnage...

Following the fires in Aude, our association had to take many rescue operations. Two feeding sites were hit, and many cats were severely burned!

We're placing them in foster homes gradually, but it's really complicated because we already lacked spaces. We also don't have the means to buy food, blankets and dens for all these cats who urgently need them...
