Poor Nocturne had to have surgery for an eyelid tumour...

1. She has an eyelid tumour!

Nocturne is a cat of approximately five years old, whom we caught because she has an eyelid tumour. The vet operated on her to remove it, but there is a high chance it will recur.

For the post-operative wound, we provide her antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines in her food.

2. She lives outdoors...

Nocturne cannot tolerate indoor life. Hence, she was released outdoors, to a feeding site. However, the winter is harsh, exposing her to the cold and inclement weather...

3. A shelter would protect her from the rain

With a shelter, Nocturne could maintain her independence, whilst also keeping her safe from bad weather. She could take refuge there to rest, resulting in a more restful sleep.

4. It's a disaster!

The number of cats in need is always high, but we are short of food. With the winter, as it's cold, their nutritional needs increase... At the moment, there are about a hundred cats relying on us!
