Gnawed jaw, damaged eye: due to a large abscess, Victor is having great difficulty eating!

1. He had a big abscess...

Victor is a cat of about seven years old, who we had to have hospitalized due to a huge abscess. The infection started from one of his teeth and gnawed away his entire jaw, before reaching his eye!

We now give him pain relief medication, to alleviate his suffering. However, he still has difficulties chewing and can no longer eat dry food.

2. To regain strength, he will need suitable canned food

Supplying him with moist canned food, which is easy to ingest, would be of great assistance to Victor. Rich in vitamins, minerals and proteins, such food would provide him with a daily source of energy, without causing pain.

3. Donations are falling drastically!

Our association sterilizes stray cats and arranges for the more sociable ones to be adopted. We organise food drives to feed them, but they have not been as successful recently. The economic crisis means people have less money to give, which obviously has a direct impact on donations!
