Left to his own devices in a field, Popeye developed severe arthritis!

1. He was left to fend for himself!

Popeye is a 16-year-old donkey who was left alone in a field. We were alerted by neighbours, which allowed us to take him into our care, identify him, and have him sterilised.

Due to a lack of care in recent years, he unfortunately has severe arthritis and limps a lot. We therefore provide him with treatment, in addition to the farrier's visits.

2. Pellets would help him maintain his health

With pellets, Popeye could healthily take in good vitamins and minerals daily. It would be a good way for him to take his treatment and maintain his health, despite his health problems.

3. We are overwhelmed!

There is currently a high number of animals needing our care. Right now, we have 286 animals under our protection! The stock of pellets is vanishing quickly... And as it’s constantly raining, there is no grass in the pastures, which doesn’t help at all!
