1. He was gravely injured!

Foucou is a six-year-old cat, whom we recently took in from the streets. The poor thing had severe wounds on his skull and a large abscess on his cheek… So we took him to the vet for proper treatment.

Since he is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency syndrome), his wounds take a long time to heal. Hence, we are giving him antibiotics to prevent his wounds from getting infected.

2. Canned food would help him recover

During his recovery, Foucou needs a rich diet to regain his strength. Protein-rich canned food would be ideal for him, facilitating an effective replenishment of vitamins, minerals, and proteins. That way, he'd be back on his feet in no time.

3. The bills are mounting!

Lately, we have had very serious cases, with animals requiring numerous veterinary treatments. All this has been particularly costly!

On top of that, one of the shelter's walls collapsed, thankfully no cat was injured. Repairing it will incur nearly 2,900 euros in costs! Therefore, to continue feeding our 170 wards has become very complicated financially…
