Poor Celeste is knocked out by a chronic intestinal disease!

1. A chronic illness causes her diarrhoea...

Celeste is a female cat of around 15 years, who has been diagnosed with IBD, a chronic inflammation of the intestines found via ultrasound.

The poor thing constantly has diarrhoea, has lost weight, and her fur has turned dull... Her condition requires regular care and treatment.

2. Canned food would help her recover

Wet food specially designed to go easy on the intestines would be easier for Celeste to digest than dry food. Such canned food would be ideal for efficiently replenishing her vitamins, minerals and proteins. This could help her stay healthy, despite her illness.

3. The bills are piling up!

Lately, we have had very severe cases with animals requiring numerous veterinary treatments. All of this has been particularly expensive!

Not to mention that one of the walls of the shelter has collapsed (thankfully, no moggie was injured). The repair will result in almost £2,900 of costs! So continuing to feed our 170 charges is becoming very financially challenging...
