Kidney, liver and pancreatic problems: poor Pearl was found in a critical condition!

1. She had to be hospitalised!

Pearl is a two-year-old cat who was found on the street a fortnight ago in a critical state. Due to kidney failure and issues with her liver and pancreas, she was skeletal!

Therefore, we had to hospitalise her to rehydrate her and provide the care she needs. Once she is discharged from the clinic, we will place her in a foster home.

2. To regain strength, she will need canned food

A rich and appetising diet, such as wet cat food, would be ideal for Pearl once she leaves the clinic.

This will be her chance to healthily put on weight and gain strength. It will also make it easier for us to administer any further treatment she might need.

3. It's getting very difficult to keep going!

We manage around 150 cases every year. But due to the current crisis, our donations have been impacted: they have dropped by half, even whilst vet bills have skyrocketed! The little money we raise through adoptions is insufficient to feed all of our charges...
