Visual blindness, epilepsy, breathing difficulties: poor Tosh doesn't have an easy life...

1. He's almost blind…

Tosh is a nine-year-old cat who is blind in one eye and can barely see from the other. When he was born, one of his eyes was dislocated from its socket, so it had to be surgically removed. This visual impairment is a significant everyday hindrance to him, despite having lived with it for years...

2. He has epilepsy!

Tosh also suffers from epilepsy and is on lifelong medication to prevent seizures in which he convulses.

3. He is unwell…

Tosh has respiratory problems, with a blocked and pus-filled nose. Poor thing spends most of his time sneezing!

4. Canned food would help him to continue to regain strength

A rich and appetising food like canned food would provide Tosh with an effective energy boost. Easy to swallow, this type of food would be perfect given his condition!

5. We're out of food supplies…

Many of our moggies are ill and elderly. Taking care of them therefore involves considerable costs. Providing specialist and suitable food for these 85 cats is all the more challenging as we are running dry on our reserves!
