Poor Octave is having a lot of trouble eating because of calicivirus!

1. He's missing a lot of teeth...

Octave is a nine-year-old cat who has a severe calicivirus and carries FIV. Due to the inflammation in his gums, many of his teeth have become loose.

Therefore, he finds it difficult to eat as he can no longer chew. Even grooming himself has become problematic for him, as his tongue is inflamed!

2. Canned food would enable him to keep feeding

If he were given wet food like canned pate, it would be ideal for Octave. Easy to swallow, such food would meet his daily nutritional needs by providing him with precious proteins and vitamins.

3. Support is on hold...

The year 2025 was particularly challenging so we decided not to take any more new cases in 2026. We are also going to need your help to continue feeding our 62 proteges while we wait for our fundraising activities to yield results.
