1. He has calicivirus!

Stalone is a seven-year-old cat suffering from mouth pains and ulcers due to calicivirus. All his teeth have fallen out, so he isn't able to eat dry cat food anymore!

Sadly, he is extremely feral and difficult to treat... We, therefore, sneak medication into his food, in the hope of alleviating his symptoms.

2. Canned food would help him regain strength without pain

A wet diet would be easier for Stalone to swallow compared to cat kibble. This way, he could regain his strength without discomfort and keep fit despite his illness.

It would also make medicine intake a simpler process for him. A virtuous cycle might even kick-start his recovery!

3. We are in search of solutions!

In total, we have around forty cats to look after and very few foster homes. Donations have been dwindling which makes caring for our charges challenging. The situation is becoming difficult at every turn!
