Condemned to die, Honey is still very stressed!

1. Not being good enough at racing had condemned her

Honey is 7 years old. She was supposed to be a racehorse but she was never good enough. Her owners therefore decided to have her put down.

In the meantime, they left her unattended and she was completely attacked by lice when we brought her home!

2. She is so nervous that she eats her stall

Honey has developed tics to combat her anxiety. She is constantly eating the wood of her stall, which damages her teeth. She will end up losing them!

3. Pellets would help us to feed her

Honey needs to regain confidence, as well as strength and a balanced diet. Pellets will give her all the vitamins she needs, without putting any extra strain on her already weakened teeth.

4. We have many animals to help

We have recently rescued several horses that require a lot of care and vigilance. Feeding them also puts a strain on our budget: your help will mean a lot to us and to them!
