Secotin is a cat of about 10 years old, who suffers from calicivirus. He has ulcers in his mouth and esophagus. In addition to being painful, it makes it difficult for him to breathe and to eat. As a result, he has lost weight.
In spite of the injections, Secotin regularly falls sick again. The veterinarian decided to extract some of his teeth, in order to reduce the inflammation and to relieve him. But now, Secotin has a lot of trouble chewing...
Easy-to-ingest wet canned food would help Secotin eat without too much pain, and without the need to chew. This would be an opportunity for him to regain the weight he has lost.
Our association exists since May 2021, and helps 70 free cats. We do sterilizations, identifications and feeding. When there are kittens, we try to have them adopted.
