Pus in the eyes, fever, exhaustion: poor Stitch is knocked out by a bad case of cat flu!

1. He was at risk of euthanasia!

Stitch is a one-month-old kitten who was brought to the vet to be euthanized. Thankfully, the clinic contacted us, asking if we could take care of him and save him from this grim fate... As he is still very young, we are bottle-feeding him every three hours.

2. He is very ill...

Unfortunately, Stitch has a very severe case of cat flu. He has a fever, his eyes are filled with pus, and he is extremely weak. We have started him on an antibiotic treatment, and are applying ointment to his eyes several times a day.

3. Blankets would provide him with a more restorative sleep

To avoid getting even sicker, Stitch needs to be kept well away from drafts and dampness. With blankets, he could retain his body heat more efficiently, despite his debilitated health. They would also promote more restorative sleep, helping him regain strength and vitality.

4. We currently receive no donations!

With 130 animals to care for and no donations, the pressure on our association is intense. Financially, it's a disaster! Raising funds to buy canned food and blankets for our charges is becoming increasingly difficult…
