Old Lucas found himself outside from one day to the next!

1. He's becoming increasingly vulnerable...

Lucas is a 16-year-old cat who found himself out in the cold when his owner moved into a care home. He suffers from arthritis and can no longer jump. His teeth have severely deteriorated too... chewing has become a struggle for him.

2. He lives outdoors!

Being an older cat, no one wants to adopt Lucas. So, he lives close to his old home, taking shelter in a hedge when it rains... it's no life for such an elderly, frail cat!

3. Blankets could keep him warm this winter

A set of blankets would be perfect for Lucas. By helping him retain his body heat more effectively, throws would allow him to get more restorative rest. A little bit of comfort and warmth would provide him with much-needed solace during these hard times.

4. It's a nightmare!

We've seen more abandonments than ever since our association was founded. This year, there are especially many kittens, many of whom have cat flu and are living outdoors without anywhere to go.

Caring for and feeding them demands a colossal budget! Unfortunately, we don't have the space to take them in, and we don't have enough funds to provide blankets and shelters...
