Daylight is a 20-year-old Appaloosa horse, whose owner urgently wanted to dispose of him. To spare him a dire fate, we took him in five years ago. Daylight lives in the pasture and has a shelter for bad weather, but he is starting to grow old.

2. Pellets would provide the energy he needs

With his advanced age and outdoor life, Daylight needs energy-rich pellets. Such supplementation would allow him to keep his strength to face the winter and compensate increased needs related to his old age.

3. We are overwhelmed by veterinary costs!

This month, we had to face up to €2000 in veterinary costs: €900 for hospitalisation expenses in a bid to save a cat with liver failure, €500 for the first vaccinations and care for the kittens, €300 for anti-parasitic medication... Not to mention the €300 for a check-up for our mare, Titine. We really need a helping hand for food!
