Cat flu, calicivirus: poor Adam is beset with health problems!

1. He has no teeth left!

Adam is a cat of about 10 years old, who almost ended up drowned in the basement where he had sought refuge.

Upon arrival, he was in a pitiful state! Carrying FIV, he no longer has teeth due to gingivitis. Between that and the inflammation of his gums, he can no longer eat dry food...

2. He has chronic cat flu...

Weakened immunity wise, Adam also contracted cat flu that doesn't go away. As soon as he is stressed or tired, he sneezes a lot, his eyes run and he is lethargic...

We also had to have him undergo eyelid surgery due to a malformation that was causing severe infections.

3. Blankets would offer him precious comfort

A set of blankets would help Adam maintain his body heat more easily at night. Come autumn, he would also be more sheltered from humidity and draughts. His sleep would only be more restorative!

4. We are stuck!

To date, we are managing 44 tomcats, many of which are sick kittens or elderly cats. Between our veterinary debt and the donations that have drastically decreased, we are no longer coping!
